Finally, my Wacom gets used…

Finally… a reason to use my Wacom tablet. The transition from analog to digital has been pretty rocky for me. I can’t quite get the hang of drawing digitally. But then… I found Plastic Animation Paper! In minutes I was drawing my head off… frame after frame. Here are a couple quick animations I did. Both took less than five minutes. I was just testing the tools.

I can’t wait to work with it more and do some more in-depth animations. I miss 2D. I haven’t done any in years, but I’m so excited to have found such a great and easy to use app.

I’ve got sooooooo many un-scanned sketches it’s not even funny. Hopefully I’ll get to scan those soon and post them here.

So in keeping with the non-sketch posts I thought I’d let people know this:

I’m also in a band called The Northern Conspiracy. We just got done recording at the legendary Avast in Ballard (Death Cab, The Shins, Pearl Jam, Sound Garden… to name a few band that have recorded there). Joe has made a TNC page on Virb.com.
